The Cowboys came from the left, the right, all over Madison's defense. Every which way, the Cowboys offense ran like a well oiled machine. Quarterback Will Marty had a field day on the Mohawk secondary, tossing 268 yards and two TDs, while averaging an astounding 9.9 yards per pass. For those math majors out there, that's a tenth of a yard away from a first down every time Marty touched the ball. I'd say that's a good day. Along with Marty stormed Terrell Dailey, as the Junior scored 3 rushing touchdowns on 115 yards on the ground, along with one receiving TD for 72 yards. Dominic Vamosi also had a touchdown catch, for 15 yards.
Although the Cowboy offense operates smoothly every week, the real story of the game was the strength of the defense. In the past two games, the Wyoming defense has allowed 81 points and a whopping 525 yards to Fenwick. In this Madison game, the Cowboys allowed just one offensive TD in the 3rd quarter, leaving the Madison offense gasping for air in the majority of the game.
